Lexington Fire Dept. Firehouse #8

Welcome to the Unnofficial Site of Firehouse # 8.  Firehouse 8 is located at 1725 North Broadway in Lexington, KY.  Firehouse 8 is one house within the 1st District.  Firehouse 8 houses Engine 8 (Rescue Squad Co.) and Emergency Care 3 (Ambulance).  Both companies serve the Northside of Fayette County including Interstate 75.  Please bare with us as this site is under construction.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

3-8-08  Extrication Run on Interstate--Engine 8, EC3 responded to I-75 during a snowstorm that dropped up to 9 inches of snow around the area.  E8, EC3 performed EMS while L-5 and R-1 extricated patient.

3-1-08  2 Alarm Fire at Village Dr. ---  Engine 8 assigned to Third Floor Fire attack,  Companies on third floor found heavy fire in the attic/roof area.  Crews extinguished the fire and was soon relieved by 3rd Plt.  Great job done by all crews.
